Welcome to 7th Grade

  I have been teaching in the Piner-Olivet School District for 24 years where I have taught grades 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. This will be my 18th year teaching at POCS. I truly love teaching middle school students and focusing on the English and History curriculum. As your teacher, I expect that you will come to class prepared to learn and do your personal best in all that you do. I will support you in becoming better organized, more responsible, respectful of others, resourceful, and reflective. I want each of you to feel at home in our classroom community and have fun while learning.

Students can meet with me daily during Advisory. Additionally, students can meet with me by appointment before school or after school depending on my meeting schedule. The best way to contact me is via email at [email protected]. We do encourage students begin advocating for themselves. Lastly, parents can also make appointments with me before school or after school depending on my meeting schedule. We can also arrange Zoom meetings as needed. Here is my link.
